About Course
Students of the Interdisciplinary course in Natural Sciences and Mathematics (LICN), on the Brejo Santo campus, have general training in the so-called Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) and also in the field of Mathematics, to teach these disciplines in Elementary School. As of the fourth semester, they may or may not specifically enroll in the UFCA Chemistry Degree – which, therefore, does not offer vacancies directly through the Unified Selection System (SiSU). This second cycle lasts a year and a half, focusing on studies in the area of chemistry, education and pedagogy, thus training qualified professionals to work in elementary and high school education institutions. Its graduates leave the university with two diplomas (LINC and Chemistry).
