About Course
At UFCA, the Licentiate Course in Mathematics lasts 4 years. The way to enter the Degree in Mathematics is through the selection process of the Unified Selection System (SiSU). Graduates in Mathematics, graduated from UFCA, are able to reflect on their own professional practice, which has an interface between Mathematics and Education; become aware of their citizenship and act in the development of educational and structural processes in the School and in Society. It dominates theoretical and didactic assumptions that allow the use of varied teaching methodologies, such as the use of new technologies aimed at Education. He can act as a teacher in primary and secondary education, also having the competence to prepare materials used in teaching mathematics and work in administrative positions related to Education.
