The Outreach acts as the university’s arm in society, developing actions to promote sustainable regional development, as well as helping to meet the needs of the community. Outreach projects also seek to promote the exchange of knowledge between the institution and the social body in which it operates. The actions, projects and outreach programs of UFCA are coordinated by the Dean of Outreach Projects (PROEX).
Outreach actions may be proposed in the following thematic areas: Communication, Culture, Human Rights and Justice, Education, Environment, Health, Technology and Production and Work. At UFCA, outreach actions are selected annually, through scholarships or through continuous demand process.
