UFCA holds partnerships and agreements to promote teaching, research and extension, and to expand opportunities for institutional, scientific, cultural and social development
In order to express interest in making international partnerships and agreements with our university, please inform yourself about the modalities of legal instruments, which are listed in the following item. Subsequently, contact the International Cooperation Office (ICO/SCI).
The UFCA professor interested in signing an agreement or protocol of intentions with a foreign institution must bring the complete documentation to the International Cooperation Office, so that the process can be initiated. In order for a cooperation agreement to be concluded, it will have to analyzed by the following instances in the order described below:
- Academic Unit at UFCA
- International Cooperation Office
- Legal Office
- Rector’s Office – for signature by the Rector of UFCA
- Foreign institution – for subscription
In case a Foreign institution wishes to initiate an Agreement, they can contact our office directly through e-mail: convenios.sci@ufca.edu.br
Required Documentation
Memorandum forwarding to the Secretariat for International Cooperation, attaching:
– Copy of the Minutes of the Approval Meeting of the Academic Unit Council;
– Copy of the letter / letter from the foreign institution showing interest in doing cooperation work with UFCA.
– Agreement Data Form completed to facilitate communication between the foreign HEI and SCI.
The Protocol of Intentions / Agreement in 2 copies of each language (2 copies in Portuguese and 2 copies in the preferred language of the foreign institution).
