About Course

Students of the Interdisciplinary course in Natural Sciences and Mathematics (LICN), on the Brejo Santo campus, have general training in the so-called Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) and also in the field of Mathematics, to teach these disciplines in Elementary School. As of the fourth semester, they may or may not specifically enroll in the UFCA Physics Degree – which therefore does not offer vacancies directly through the Unified Selection System (SiSU). This second cycle lasts a year and a half, studying the relationship between matter and energy and developing new methods for teaching Physics. Its graduates leave the university with two diplomas (LINC and Physics), qualified to teach in high school as well.
